One of our favorite parts of gift-giving is finding gadgets and goodies that people may not buy for themsevles while knowing they will make all the difference when it comes to travel, filming, and enjoying the ride.

Maybe you're buying a gift for someone who longboards, but you don't know much about the sport or maybe you're buying a gift for the person who seems to have everything. Either way, we've got a variety of products at a variety of prices sure to make it a holly jolly Christmas. Each item is something we use and stand by as our favorite items of the season.

1. DJI Osmo Pocket 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilized Handheld Camera:

We do a lot of shooting with this camera. And for those of us who can't get a camera person, this is absolutely the camera to buy. It's built in stabilizer will help whoever is with you capture good quality footage. There's a reason they say, "Video or it didn't happen." Make sure your helping your favorite rider stack those clips this holiday season!

2. Smith Optic Sunglasses:

Perfect for just about anything from protecting your eyes against sun and wind at your local skate spot to bluebird days on the slopes, Smiths are a go-to gift. These Smith Roam Chromapop Sunglassescome in under $60 for select colors. One of our personal favorites is also on sale. Shop thesefor 32% OFF and under $100.

Bonus: BackCountry is having a 60% off on select items now through 12/8. We'll be picking up this Marmot Women's fleece now 60% OFF and under $60. It's perfect for those colder temps, and we also love this Patagonia Quilted Cotton Snap-T. It rarely goes on sale, so pick up the Shale color that's now 56% OFF.

3. Insulated Skate Shoes:

We love these unisex Vans hi-top sneakers that are perfect for winter. They are weather-resistant (scotch guard) leathers sneakers with a heat retention layer that keeps your feet warm and dry. They are nice enough to skate in or wear them out to dinner (especially the tan and plaid ones). If you're shopping for a leopard print lover, they even come with a faux fur leopard print contrasting trim.

4. Travel Humidifier:

Ok, this doesn't sound like an essential, but trust us, it is! If you've ever been in a high altitude area, you know it can be a struggle. All you need is this small device and a water bottle (great way to bring a second life to those water bottles) to get you headed in the right direction. Perfect for those mountain longboard trips or ski trips. **Right now, it's on Black Friday sale for under $20.

5. Sk8ology Carabiner:

Skate tools are like pens. You see them all the time until you *actully* need one. Turn your skate tool into a carabiner and you'll never be without it again because it can clip onto your belt loop or back pack so your tools are at hand at all times. It's such a great gift for under $15, and it has everything you need for your board (and even a bottle opener):

6. Cooler Backpack:

Ok, we're bias, but these guys are awesome, and they've upgraded their classic cooler (click here if you're looking for a budget friendly but still rad option) to a 30-liter soft cooler backpack that can carry 18-20 drinks and ice with 4 additional pockets for whatever else you may need while you're spending the day scouting roads and skating with the crew.

Now that we've helped solve those holiday whoas, hopefully you can spend more time out on the hill. Happy Shopping + Happy Shredding!
