Description

Drop Freeride it like it’s hawt.

The 2012 Drop Freeride 41 rocks a wide 10.25” deck platform and a long wheelbase that is perfect for riders stepping up to higher speeds or steeper hills. The monsterous, steezy-wide, wheelbase combined with the 0.95’’ drop grants more stability and control at any speed. With sliding and control at higher speeds already in the bag, the Drop Freeride kicktails add a touch of freestyle capacity to further diversify the 41’s already diverse array of strengths.

Love at First Slide.

Slide aggressively with more confidence, go faster, and commute more comfortably. With the Drop Freeride 41, you can stop shifting your feet and stay safely locked in; thanks to the drop and deep central concave, you have support no matter where your feet are. The double-drop (drop-through + drop-deck) design of the Drop Freeride 41 is there to ease both slide initiation and hook-up, which makes it ideal for beginners learning to slide. Drop-through for easy slides while you are learning, topmount it once you know your stuff: One board: many options, you just entered the land of opportunity.

Probably one of the best boards you can have for freeriding. If you don’t wreck it too hard you can also use it for flattricks. Totally happy with it.

I had like 3 of theese and i encoutered only one problem. If u are fat as me u can crak it when u drop hard from wall or land on tails (After 2 years of using each). They practicaly broke at the same spot (behind trucks drop mounted). Best deck ever cover all my needs. Cant decide between Apex DD and FRDD41 now. God bless you! 10/10

The Drop Freeride 41 features a drop deck with a cutout shape. The drops helped lock my feet in securely for slides, and kept me super stable as I was super low to the ground. Contrary to popular belief, the kicktails on this board are quite functional. Personally, I look at the drop freeride as the counterpart to the apex. Apex DD being 65% freestyle, 35% freeride and the Drop freeride being 35% freestyle, 65% freeride (Give or Take)

This deck is really nice. It keeps your feet firmly in place for downhill and freeriding, and the kick-tails make it fun when there aren’t any hills around. However, the durability of this board is pretty crappy, it had all kinds cracks running through it within the first month of owning it. I only way 140lbs and I rarely do any kind of freestyle riding. It didn’t even last a year. when I went to do a simple manual, the tail just snapped completely off. Overall a great board, I just didn’t expect it to break so soon.

Honestly one of my favorite decks I ever had. I wish I hadn’t sold it off to a friend of mine. After the board settles in, the stiffness is perfect. Not too stuff, not too flexible. It has just the slightest amount of give and that’s just right for me. Lastly, it’s durable as all hell. I haven’t had a board stand up to as much abuse as this thing has. Any other board would have chipped or snapped at this point. I’d recommend it to anybody that’s looking for a comfortable, stable, and low ride. It’s perfect for anything you have to throw at it. If I had to complain about anything, it would be how heavy the board is, but that’s it. Really. I give it a 10/10.

Current setup if u are curious: bear 852s, bones reds bearings and abec 11 70s flashbacks

Ive had this board for a few years now and its been worth every penny. It makes travelling so easy on ur feet as its double dropped (kick tails are a huge plus) and the concave despite looking a bit aggressive it doesnt hurt ur feet, speaking of the concave it does what its meant to: locks u in during those slides, countless hours of joy. I also feel comfortable doing some mediocre downhill with it nothing crazy but it stays stable enough and i rarely ever get any wobles, only minor negative i can think of its not the lightweight board but the positives outweigh the negatives, it is afterall very stiff which i love.

Cant complain about the deck graphic either the black and white 3d looking art (older version of drop 41)is different and even when scratched its doesnt get ruined like something with way more detail.

To wrap it up u cant go wrong with this board if u wana freeride and do a little bit of everything for affordable price. Thumbs up for Original!

I have had this board for 5 years (and even learned to board with this) until it ran away from me and a truck ran over it. I’ve been to 5 skate shops near me in search for something similar and I have yet to find anything comparable to this model. I absolutely LOVE this board, it rides so smooth and takes corners well. I was so partial to this board that I refused to settle for anything less, so here I am buying another one!
