Description

Big Things. Small Packages.

When big freestyle freeride performance is a must our pro riders turn to the Apex 40 DoubleConcave, but what happens when a smaller rider demands the same? The Apex 34 DoubleConcave answers that call, delivering true big longboard performance in a super tight package, perfectly sized for smaller / lighter performance riders. Step up your game all-around, from freestyle tricks to technical softwheel sliding, the Apex 34 DoubleConcave delivers the performance small riders need to make it to the pros, though it may not help get you to the NBA.

Noteworthy Performance, Unique Durability

The Apex 34 DC shares all of the key performance attributes that the Apex 40 DoubleConcave introduced late last year. From the 0.25 inch micro drop to the 1.5 inch kicks, to the quad-axial fiberglass and full multi-layer carbon reinforcement bar. The Apex 34 packs all the punch of the larger Apex 40, in a scaled down package. It also accepts the same PK noseguards which have provided to be one of the biggest jumps in freestyle performance we have seen in the last 10 years. Get your hands on an Apex 34 and let the new PK’s take your freestyle abilities up a notch.

  1. Rated 5 out of 5

The apex DC 34 is an extremely well built board. I just got it and it’s already one of my favorites for freestyle and cruising. All apex boards are incredibly well made and incredibly durable. After skating on my apex DD 37 for a very long time I switched over to this one. Instantly, even after not skating for an entire winter, I was able to pull off difficult tricks. This is a board I would highly recommend for anyone who likes to do freestyle and cruising. The lightness and flexibility makes it an absolute joy to ride. Huge thanks to Ashley for the hook up! 5/5 GET THIS BOARD!!!

  2. Rated 5 out of 5

This is a board that can be ridden in a TON of different ways. As someone who is 6’0 (1.82m) tall, I used the Apex 34 for much more technical freestyle tricks. It’s much easier to flip and fling, as opposed to the Apex 37 or 40. Before the Arbiter DK was released, I also used the Apex 34 strictly as a technical freeride board for a while. Skating it with one foot always over the tail, I could slash it down city hills doing blunt slides, seamless 360s, slide shuvs, and ollie it over and around anything. Simply put, the 34 absolutely killed it for me with fast-paced and technical skating!

Team Rider Julian Bright, who also happens to be my dorky little brother, skated the Apex 34 DC when he was 5’1 (1.55m) tall. Because of the height difference, he was able to use the board in a way that I never could. He could do dancing lines, chill freestyle tricks that were long and sweeping (like nollie shuvs or tail drag grabs), and felt comfortable on the board at high speeds. For him, the Apex 34 skated much like an Apex 40 would on me.

So, if you’re someone looking to get funky with some crazy freestyle, technical freeride, or want the campus cruiser of your dreams, then the Apex 34 will welcome you with loving arms. If you’re a kid who is still growing but want to do all of the longboard wizardry that you see the big boys do in videos, then the Apex 34 is for you. There are few boards in our lineup quite like the Apex 34, it’s guaranteed to be a good time!
